Gui Gui, 21.2cm high, 29.5cm wide, and 5.28kg in weight
Gui is round, mouth is closed, belly is bulging, there are three small feet under the ring foot, and the ears of animals on both sides of the abdomen hang down with small ears. It is covered with a round catch on the top. The top and belly of the cover are decorated with tile patterns, the neck and the edge of the cover are decorated with steal curve patterns, and the circle foot is decorated with triangular cloud patterns

The main idea of the inscription: On the first auspicious day of March in the fifth year, Gengyin, the king was in the Shilu Palace in Zhoudi. At dawn, Wang went to the hall and took his seat. Sima Gong led the craftsmen into the temple gate and stood in the middle of the courtyard. Wang called on the historian’s first book to admonish him, saying, “Since my ancestor King Zhou has appointed you to take charge of the king’s banquets, you can’t be thoughtless and treat his affairs kindly. Now I will continue to appoint you to take charge of the original affairs. I will give you a bridle.” The admonishment bowed and kowtowed. In order to thank and publicize the great and illustrious beauty of the Son of Heaven, Jian made a Gui in honor of his dead father, Huibo. This Gui will be used by the descendants of Jian for thousands of years
This inscription indicates that in the official appointment system of the Western Zhou Dynasty, even if the appointment is not increased or decreased, but only the appointment of the former king is reiterated, a registration ceremony is also required
