Gebo Gui is 23.5cm high, 30.8cm wide and 7.58kg heavy
Gui has a round belly, round feet and a square seat underneath. The head and ears of the two animals are curly like an elephant trunk. A convex animal head is cast in the center of the front and back of the neck, and the two sides of the animal head are decorated with Kui patterns and round vortex patterns. The center of the abdomen and the four walls of the square seat are decorated with vertical patterns, the circle feet are decorated with continuous four-petal flowers and round vortex bands, the edges of the four walls of the square seat are decorated with round vortex patterns and steal patterns, and the top four corners of the square seat are decorated with animal face patterns
The inside of the Gui has an inscription of 9 lines and 83 characters:
Only at the beginning of the first month of the month, the auspicious and the dead, Wang Zaicheng
Zhou. Geboyuan’s good horse was born on the ground,
30 fields were stored, then analysis. Ge “Bo [0061]
Ge Pi [0062] [0063], Jue Cong Ge Bo [0064] [0062]
Dian Yin, Jue Youling” Gu Du Mu
[0065] Gu [0066], involving the East Gate
Jue Shu Shi Ji Wu Li
Cheng Cheng [0068]. Cast Baogui, and use
Diangebotian. Its children and grandchildren will always use it

The main idea of the inscription: On the first auspicious day of the first month, Guisi, the king of Zhou became a week in the capital. Gerber accepted four good horses from Wang Sheng, and agreed that the exchange value was 30 fields, with the two sides cutting wood as the evidence. Geber delivered the fields of Yipihege, “0064” and Dianyinchongdi, and marked them with trees in zero valley and “0065” valley. The Registrar has established a document file and defined the boundary. 倗 This treasure Gui was forged by Wang Sheng, which is used to record the land property of Gebo, and for future generations to use it as a treasure for thousands of years. The name of the Shen Sheng family is “0067”
The maker of this device is actually Shen Sheng. According to the general practice, it should be named Shen Sheng Gui. This Gebo Gui in the Palace Museum collection is missing 17 characters in the middle, which is supplemented by the inscriptions of other utensils with the same inscription
