Hanzhong City has been called“ since ancient times; Land of Abundance&rdquo& ldquo; A land of plenty”, Yes“ The birthplace of the Han family, the Chinese cornucopia” The reputation. As early as the Shang Dynasty, human beings lived and worked here. In the later history, Hanzhong once became a place of war for military strategists. 同治年间，陕甘发生大乱，幸得左公左宗棠帅6万湖湘儿郎，平了大乱。但是此次大乱对陕甘造成巨大的破坏，除造成大量人员死亡外，对陕西的各城市也造成巨大的破坏，从下面荒凉汉中府照片中可以感受一番。
汉中市自古称为“天府之国”、“鱼米之乡”，有“汉家发祥地，中华聚宝盆”之美誉。早在商朝时期，这里就有了人类生息劳作的身影，在以后的历史中，汉中又一度成为兵家争战之地，如刘邦、诸葛亮等都以汉中作为军事基地。汉中是汉家发祥地，其历史悠久。自公元前312年秦惠文王首置汉中郡，迄今已有2300多年的历史。
但是虽然经过同治年间战火的破坏，下面照片中的汉中城依然雄壮伟丽。
