Edward· Sha Wan, referred to as Sha Wan for short, is recognized by the academic community as the world’s most successful master of Chinese studies at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century; European Sinology Leader”. In 1907, he came to China for the second time. He spent ten months in Northeast China and North China to investigate cultural relics and historic sites in Hebei, Shandong, Henan, Shaanxi, Shanxi and other provinces, and purchased a large number of books and took a large number of photos

泰安府岱庙
岱庙创建于代,至唐时已殿阁辉煌。在宋真宗大举封禅时,又大加拓建。岱庙南北长405.7米,东西宽236.7米,呈长方形,总面积96000平方米 ,其建筑风格采用帝王宫城的式样,周环1500余米,庙内各类古建筑有150余间

岱庙东岳坊。

岱宗坊位于岱庙北,为一跨道石坊,登泰山由此开始。

蒿里山墓碑。
泰安蒿里山,又名高里山、英雄山,位于泰山火车站南,汉以前称作“高里山”。为古代帝王的禅地之所,《汉书》中多处记载了汉武帝“亲禅高里”。约到魏晋时期,出现“蒿里”之称。蒿里山曾建有规模宏大的蒿里山神祠,又名森罗殿。

泰山十八盘是共有石阶1827级,是泰山的主要标志之一。
