Share a group of old photos of everyday life of people along the Yangtze River in the 1910s
This group was filmed by an American missionary who started traveling along the Yangtze River from Chengdu and filmed the daily life of the people along the Yangtze River. The author of this group of photos, the location of each photo and other photos taken at the same time need to be verified
However, I think that the photographer of this group is probably Luther&Middleot; Then Ed. Luther Knight (1879-1913), born in Iowa, studied at Northwestern University in Illinois and Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, and taught at two American universities. In June 1910, he signed a contract with the Sichuan Higher School of the Qing Dynasty to assist education. In August of that year, he arrived in China from the United States through Japan. Later, he went west from Shanghai along the Yangtze River and arrived in Chengdu in October to teach mathematics, chemistry and geology in Sichuan Higher School
