This is a group of old photos of Ningbo around 1876 (the fourth group). Let’s have a look at the real scene of Ningbo, a water town in the south of the Yangtze River in the late Qing Dynasty
The photographer (collector) of this group of photos is Edward· Bondru. He worked in China from 1868 to 1908 and served as the customs directors of Fuzhou and Ningbo. During this period, I took these precious photos around 1877
