皇城内群众庆新政。皇城是明蜀王朱椿的王府，中轴线上，自南向北的建筑是：正门端礼门、龙门、明远楼、石牌坊、致公堂、清白堂、文昌宫和后子门

皇城内石牌坊广场前的集会群众，人群中大多数脑后还拖着长辫，因为当时剪辨的政令还未下达。牌坊上刻有“旁求俊义”，后面是致公堂。

青羊宫外的苗圃，竹竿编搭的栅栏内种有小树和盆栽花草，园圃中间搭有席棚。当年这种经营性行业已经遍布城郊乡里。
