In 1936, the first group of old photos of Fuyu County, Songyuan, Jilin, were sent. The source of the photos was Yadong Printing Collection

  Fuyu, a county-level city administered by Songyuan City, Jilin Province, is located at the northeast edge of Songnen Plain, in the northwest of Jilin Province, and in the east of Songyuan City. It borders Ningjiang District of Songyuan City in the west, Qianguo County, Nong’an County of Changchun City and Dehui City of Changchun City across the second Songhua River in the south, Zhaoyuan County of Daqing City of Heilongjiang Province and Shuangcheng District of Harbin City of Heilongjiang Province in the north, and Yushu City of Changchun City in the east

中华民国成立后，民国二年（1913年3月），扶余改名为新城县。隶属吉林省西北路道。民国三年（1914年2月），因与河北、山东等省新城县重名，奉令改称扶余县。同年6月，西北路道改称滨江道，隶属滨江道。民国十八年（1929年2月），废止道制，由吉林省直辖。
