The Russo Japanese War refers to a war between imperialist powers in Northeast China between Japan and Russia from 1904 to 1905 in order to fight for control of the Korean Peninsula and the Liaodong Peninsula of China

Many places in the Northeast were affected by the war

胜利桥

19世纪末，沙俄对大连进行规划建设，对胜利桥以北的行政市街基础设施投入建设。1899年修建了过桥行政市街，市区的木结构桥梁。1907年，木桥拆除改建为钢筋混凝土桥，并于解放后改称为胜利桥。胜利桥北是大连开埠建市的起点，一百年前，大连城市的雏形即在这里诞生。

达里尼”市政厅办公楼旧址

“达里尼”市政厅办公楼于1900年建成，解放后于1950年改名为东北资源馆，1959年-1998年担当了大连自然博物馆的重任。这座百年历史的建筑虽已经老态龙钟，百孔千疮，但它平稳的姿态、严谨的造型，仍然风韵犹存。
