The site of Puzhou Ancient City is located on the east bank of the Yellow River, about 17 kilometers southwest of Yongji City, Shanxi Province, where the legendary Shundu Puban is located. Yincheng was first built in the Zhou Dynasty, and has been rebuilt and expanded since then. It has been governed by prefectures, and was almost a central capital in the middle of the Tang Dynasty. It is a historical town in northern China
The perimeter of the city is about 10 kilometers. The war at the turn of the Jin and Yuan dynasties was seriously damaged, and there were many repairs in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In 1959, due to the construction of Sanmenxia Reservoir, all residents in the city moved out
