The Japanese German War generally refers to the Qingdao Campaign. The Qingdao Campaign refers to the joint attack of Japan and Britain against Qingdao, which was then controlled by Germany, during the First World War. The campaign began on October 31, 1914 and ended on November 7. Japan won the battle and occupied Qingdao. This was the first time that Japan confronted Germany head-on during World War I, and it was also the only battlefield of World War I in Asia
