诗人贾梅士铜像

白鸽巢公园林荫深处，有一个巨石相叠而成的通洞，名为“贾梅士洞”，16世纪葡国著名诗人贾梅士铜像就立在此处，是葡人在澳古迹之一。

贾梅士这位诗人(1524——1580年)浪漫不羁，得罪权贵，不容于葡国，流徙印度，1556年来澳，居留两年之久，传说曾隐居“贾梅士洞”吟诗著文，并创作了史诗《葡国魂》。这部史诗叙述葡国航海家华士哥达伽玛发现并通往印度航路的历程，反映葡人在历史上航海业迹，对葡国人民思想及文学发展有一定影响，使贾梅士获得巨大的声誉。
