During the Republic of China, Qingdao was occupied twice by Japanese invaders. The first time was from 1914 to 1922, and the second time was during the Anti Japanese War in 1938
This group of photos was taken in these two periods and released postcards and public publications issued by Japanese in the same year. The pictures are from Kyoto University, Japan
