Historical materials of the invasion of China: the sixth complete picture of the postcard of the Beizhi Incident issued by Japan in 1937
The so-called North Branch Incident in Japan is the July 7th Incident. On the night of July 7, 1937, the Japanese garrison in Lugouqiao held a so-called military exercise near the Chinese garrison position without informing the local authorities of China, and falsely claimed that a Japanese soldier was missing and asked to enter Wanping County (today’s Lugouqiao Town) in the southwest of Peiping for search. The Chinese garrison sternly refused, and the Japanese army immediately launched an attack on Wanping City and Lugouqiao& ldquo; July 7th Incident” It was the prelude to the National War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression
In those days, the Japanese published many magazines or postcards to record (beautify) their aggression against China. The editor collected some old photo related materials issued by the Japanese at that time and shared them to recall the humiliating history of being invaded
