20世经以来,贝子庙地区逐渐向集镇发展。各类集会经常不断。各地客商也陆续到贝子庙附近设点经商,于是形成了“东商”、“西商”、“南商”。从此贝子庙地区变为锡盟北部旗里最大商贸活动集散点,基本满足了牧民、喇嘛们日常生活的需要。1930年之后,日军入侵东阿纳旗,将贝子庙地区变成扩大侵略的大本营。
