This is a group of old postcard photos from Japan, showing the urban landscape and scenic spots of Wuhan during the Japanese occupation of Wuhan. The photos are from Kyoto University

On October 24, 1938, Japanese troops in Jiangbei occupied Huangpi, only two kilometers from Hankou. At 16:30 p.m. on October 25, the Japanese army attacked Hankou. At 8:00 a.m. on the 26th, Wuchang was captured, and all the three towns in Wuhan fell into the enemy’s hands. Until September 18, 1945, the Japanese Sixth Front Army in Hankou Zhongshan Park; Receiving Hall” Surrender. At 3 p.m., the Japanese army representatives signed the surrender. The Japanese army ruled Wuhan for eight years

古琴台又名俞伯牙台,始建于北宋,重建于清嘉庆初年(公元1796年),位于汉阳龟山西脚下的月湖之滨,东对龟山、北临月湖,是中国音乐文化古迹、与黄鹤楼、晴川阁并称武汉三大名胜,有“天下知音第一台”之称。
