康巴汉子

康巴藏区是中国三大藏族聚居区之一，在中国西南边疆具有重要的战略地位，历史上有“治藏必先安康”的古训。康巴藏区的西界是丹达山，东界是打箭炉，即康定城。

藏传佛教传入康定已有一千多年的历史，曾经受西藏政教合一的影响。藏传佛教的红、黄、花、黑、白五个教派分布全县。

1930年11月，康定地区的一处喇嘛寺庙。

康定古为羌地，三国蜀汉称“打箭炉”，汉隶沈黎郡，隋为嘉良地，唐县境东北部为中川、会野等羁縻州，属雅州，属吐蕃。元置宣抚司，宋明继之，崇祯十二年（1639），固始汗在木雅设置营官。

康定城座落在群山层叠的峡谷之中，两岸峰峦夹峙。折多河、雅拉河浪卷雪山之水穿城而过，城南有跑马山，高出街市约300米，山顶有草坪，白塔掩映于密林中由跑马山攀登50里，有五色海一处，深不可测，每逢斜阳，四山映入水中，呈现千奇百怪之景。
