This group of old photos of Beijing are fromThe album of famous institutes in Beijing, which is a set of commercial landscape photos taken by Nanchizi Beautiful Photography Studio in Beijing around 1935. The whole set consists of eight volumes (twelve for each volume), including 96 photos. The photos were taken in Beijing Street Market, the Three Halls of the Forbidden City, Beihai, Zhongnanhai, the Temple of Heaven, Wanshoushan, Meishan, and the Imperial College of Confucius Temple. The photos are beautifully printed, with names printed on the back and instructions attached.

Beautiful Photography Studio (Nanchizi, Beijing) may be the studio of the famous German female photographer Hedda Morrison

This group of old photos is the first volume: the photos of Beijing Street Market, which consists of 12 photos, and the introduction of relevant place names is printed on the back of the photos
