Sha Fei (May 5, 1912— March 4, 1950), originally named Situ Chuan, was born in Kaiping, Guangdong Province, in the family of a drug dealer in Guangzhou. He studied in Guangzhou when he was young, and was admitted to the Western Painting Department of Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 1936. In October 1936, the photography of Lu Xun’s last photo, his remains and his funeral was published, which caused widespread shock. After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, he served as a photojournalist of the National News Agency and went to the 115th Division of the Eighth Route Army to interview the just concluded“ Great victory in Pingxingguan&rdquo

In October 1937, Shafei joined the Eighth Route Army. He successively served as the head of the News Photography Section of the Jin Cha Ji Military Area, the director of the Jin Cha Ji Pictorial, the director of the North China Pictorial, and took a large number of images related to the Eighth Route Army and the PLA. In March 1950, due to illness“ Persecutory delusional schizophrenia”, The Japanese doctor who was shot to death in Shijiazhuang Peace Hospital was sentenced to death at the age of 38

白求恩，全名亨利·诺尔曼·白求恩（Henry Norman Bethune，1890年3月4日—1939年11月12日） ，加拿大共产党员，国际主义战士，著名胸外科医师。1890年出生于加拿大安大略省格雷文赫斯特镇，1935年加入加拿大共产党，1938年来到中国参与抗日革命。因手术中被细菌感染转为败血症，1939年11月12日凌晨逝世。

1939年12月21日，毛泽东写《学习白求恩》一文，指出：一个外国人，毫无利己的动机，把中国人民的解放事业当作他自己的事业，这是什么精神？这是国际主义的精神，这是共产主义的精神，每一个中国共产党员都要学习这种精神。
