    The pen barrel is cylindrical and carved from a section of bamboo. The outer wall is decorated with distant mountains, floating clouds and green pines. There is a gap between the distant mountains. In front of the green pines, there are two people, one is riding a horse with a bridle, and the other is walking beside with a stick. The other side of the bamboo tube is plain without lines. The whole vessel is carved in shallow relief.
