- Description:
This painting is selected from Volume 39 of the Book of Han Scholars in the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. It is a temporary book of the Seventeen Posts, with a total of 21 pieces. The ink color is dark and bright, and the knot character is similar to the original one. The light, heavy, slow, and urgent use of the pen enriches the rhythm and texture of the lines. In other words, the author of this painting is Zhu Dayou from Ningguo County in the Ming Dynasty. Zhu’s name is Boheng. He was born in Jiajing at the age of 1534. However, his career did not coincide with the last postscript, so he should not be the same person. Although Zhu Dayou is not a famous calligrapher, he has profound skills and high standards. He said to himself, “The calligraphy of the Right Army is the most popular one in his life. He likes to copy seventeen calligraphies, especially those that are devoutly good. Over the past few decades, he has copied several and a hundred volumes.” This shows the influence of the calligrapher on later generations.
