- Description:
Although this volume is named Dong Qichang (1555~1636) temporary calligraphy, the breath of calligraphy is far away, and it should be the work of later generations. The original author may be a follower of Dong Qichang, who agrees with Dong’s calligraphy theory of attaching importance to temporary books, ponders the ancient writing techniques, and then finds the direction of personal efforts. The Moon Calligraphy was originally a template for letters between friends during the Jin and Tang Dynasties, or called “Friend Calligraphy” or “December Friend Hearing”. Its contents are sorted by month, and the greeting method is slightly changed every month. The elegant diction shows the ancient people’s warm greetings for making friends.
