- Description:
Wen Zhengming (1470-1559) described Jinshan as an island in a vast expanse of waves dotted with sails. The whole painting is in the middle of a bald pen, and the strokes are green and healthy. The Emperor Qianlong once took this picture for exhibition when he passed the Jiangge of Jinshan Temple on his south tour, and wrote a poem: “Take it with your personal certificate, and the situation is as solid as this”, which shows his elegance of carrying ancient paintings as an instant proof.
