  • Description:
This kind of bottle is called “Jade Pot Spring”, which has a curly mouth, a long neck, and a round belly with low round feet. The body of this jade pot spring vase is thin. Except that there is no glaze at the foot of the ring, the whole vase is covered with white glaze. Patterns can be seen faintly on the surface of the vessel, but because of the coating of the glaze layer, the patterns can not be clearly identified. The white glazed jade pot spring bottle is extremely rare. In Türkiye’s Topkapi Saray Museum, there is a piece of work with broken rim inlaid with metal clasps used as a drinking utensil. There is no report on the unearthed white glazed jade pot spring bottle at the Zhushan site in Jingdezhen, but it can be seen from the unearthed blue and white jade pot spring bottle that there are two kinds of jade pot spring bottles at this time: thin neck and thick neck. The shape of this piece is close to the thin neck jade pot spring bottle.
