This painting is a freehand brushwork with peony, orchid, bamboo, lotus, narcissus, camellia and other flowers interspersed in the form of broken branches. The pen is fresh and lively, and the composition is well arranged. Flowers dot leaves in shades,&# 37390; The lines of Le Ye Vein make it free and frank. The whole picture conveys a fresh, noble and elegant atmosphere, which is the presentation of the painter’s personal style. Since his middle age, Chen Chun has changed his mind. He is indifferent to fame and wealth, and has a passion for mountains and forests. In his later years, his art has become mature and free. This volume was written in Wuxu (1538), when Chen Chun was 56 years old.
