- Description:
Leng Qian (active in the 14th century), a native of Zhejiang, lived in seclusion in Wushan, a suburb of Hangzhou, at the end of the Yuan Dynasty. Leng Qian painted a picture of a Taoist priest named Huang Guan. He said that in the third year of Zhizheng’s reign (1343), Qiu and Liu Ji (1311-1375) went to Baiyue Mountain to make a pilgrimage and continued to visit Huangshan Mountain. After returning, he made a regular tour. From the inscription and postscript of the two people on the painting, we can see that this tour is regarded as a tour of Mount Fairy.
