The Portrait of Yang Jijing, written in the fifth year of Jiajing (1526), is Wen Biren’s work at the age of 24. It may be his earliest chronological painting and the only figure painting. Yang Jijing (1504-1530 years ago), the main character in the painting, is a famous zither player in Suzhou. He is friendly with Wen Zhengming and others, so Wen Beren has the opportunity to make a portrait of him.
