The sapphire is grayish with ochre yellow spots. Wash in peach shape. The handle is carved into a peach branch, on which stands a parrot with a lovely posture. The feather carving is quite fine, and the center of the bottom is carved with a peach blossom. This tool is attached with a wooden seat, which may be a work of the Qing Dynasty. The wooden seat and Yuxi are also made of a bat in the shape of a peach, implying happiness and longevity.
