Sun Kehong (1533-1611), a native of Songjiang, was named Yuzhi, Xueju. He was appointed as an official by his father’s shadow, but he had no intention of career. He built fine houses and gardens in his former residence in the eastern suburbs. There are many strange stones, including Ding Yi, gold and stone, French calligraphy and famous paintings. A good game is to draw flowers from life.
