- Description:
There are eight volumes of Tang Yinshu’s “Essays”, which are rich and diverse in content, copying poems and essays of contemporary scholars such as Shao Bao (1460-1527), Zhu Yingdeng (1477-1526), and Lu Nan (1479-1542). This picture is selected from Volume I, II and VIII. There is no money in this volume. Only the seal on the back of the eighth volume has “Tang Yin Xuepu Hall Seal of Wu County”. Judging from the handwriting or the character characteristics, it should be Tang Yin’s calligraphy. Then, from the sentence “Winter in the first year of Jiajing (1522)” in the volume, it can be inferred that it was written in his later years. The calligraphy of the eight volumes started from the rules, and then gradually became free and unrestrained, and the number of Feibai became more and more, providing another aspect of his calligraphy in his later years.
