Lv Ji (about 1429 – about 1505), with the name of Tingzhen and the name of Leyu, was a fisherman. He entered the imperial palace in the late Chenghua period (1470-1480) and was highly appreciated by the Emperor Xiaozong during the Hongzhi Dynasty (1488-1505). He is one of the representatives of the painting taste of the Emperor Xiaozong Dynasty.
