Bian Wenjin, born and died in Shaxian County, Fujian Province, is unknown. The word “Jingzhao” was called to the capital by Yongle (1403-1424 AD) to grant an edict to the Wuying Hall, and the inner hall was still served by Xuande (1426-1435 AD). He is erudite and able to write poems. He is good at painting flowers and fruits. One hundred and thirty-six cranes were painted, including those flying, singing, pecking, fighting and swimming. He is like a pine tree, a banana tree, a stone and other things in the cloud and water. He should be pictorial, elegant and healthy. He can’t do it without being an old hand. But the brush and ink are not the same as those of Bian Jingzhao. The characters of money and the seal of Xiang Yuanbian were added by later generations.
