The ink stone is black with purple. There is no blockage at the lower end, the ink receiving part is wide and straight, and it is connected with the ink pool, and the ink pool is rectangular and concave. The back of the inkstone is sloping. Inkstone head wall is engraved with regular script: “Take friends’ information and secretly seal them. Take a bath of orchid to catch the Magnolia Hall. The calligraphy, paper and painting scrolls are often treasured and appreciated, so that people can understand the beauty of their own”. Title: “Emperor Qianlong Jiachen” (1784, 49th year), two seals: “Bide”, “Langrun”. On the left side of the inkstone is carved: “Bathing in the orchid pavilion”, and on the right side is carved: “The end is proved by the eyes, while your eyes are hidden. The color is purple, and your color is pale. It is not good to be false, but who knows that you are virtuous. Then it is dark, and the chapter is written. You belong only to the bottom, and the common people almost read the collection of friends. The inscription of Ding Chou (five years, 1577) on the sixth day of summer, Zhou Tianqiu was born.” Inkstone back engraved: “Kuaran Pavilion”.
