The long ox tongue shaped ink is molded on one side, with a dragon’s four legs open and its mouth open. Two fire patterns rise diagonally from the dragon’s nose and dragon’s corner. The space surrounded by the fire pattern contains the official characters “Imperial Ink”, in which there are golden traces in the character “Imperial Ink”, and blue remains in the inner side of the character “Ink”. The other side is printed with “Xuande Style” and “Xiaohua Taoist Ink” in regular script, which is the style of Luo Xiaohua, a Mohist in the Ming Dynasty.
