- Description:
Goddess of Mercy stepped on the green lotus, and came by the cloud with willows and water cups in his hands. The crown on his head left the position of standing Buddha, but he did not draw a Buddha statue, indicating that this work has not been finished. The color of this scroll is bright, clean and elegant. In addition to the fine lines used to draw the outline, it also shows the three-dimensional effect in the way of faint dyeing on the face, hands and sky clothes. Although there is Qiu Ying’s (about 1494-1552) stamp on the painting, the stability of the lines and the fineness of the description of this scroll brush are quite different from those of Qiu Ying. It should be a work of later generations using Qiu Ying’s name falsely.
