There is no author’s stamp on this painting. The silk floor is marked with a seal number in regular script. The right picture shows Empress Chen of Muzong, and the left picture shows Concubine Li of Muzong. Li Guifei was the biological mother of Shenzong. After Shenzong ascended the throne, she was honored as the empress dowager and the last empress dowager of the Ming Dynasty.
