- Description:
Hello, everyone. I’m Ni Zan. I was originally a millionaire. But because of the chaos in the late Yuan Dynasty, I had to leave my hometown and wander around. I often express my yearning for my hometown through landscape painting. Like this picture of “Rong Ji Zhai”, I always draw an empty pavilion under several trees, facing the mountains beyond the vast river. Those distant mountains are just like the hometown you can’t go back to. My simple composition and colorless painting has been appreciated by many people. They think my paintings are very light and elegant, so people keep learning my composition and painting methods.
