Su Shi’s Fu on the Former Red Cliff is not only a masterpiece handed down through the ages, but also a favorite painting theme for painters of all ages. This painting depicts Su Dongpo and his guests on a boat trip to Chibi. The breeze is gentle, the water is not stirring, and the wine is a guest. Su Dongpo is the one who wears a high towel in the boat. This painting is delicate and beautiful, and the tree painting is still influenced by Wen Zhengming. The full text of “Qian Chibi Fu”, which Jiang Zhenji copied in small script in the blank space, is both illustrated and written, which makes it more interesting.
