  • Description:
Zhou Tianqiu (1514-1595 AD) was born in Changzhou (today’s Suzhou, Jiangsu Province), with the character of “Gongxiao” and the name of “Youhai” (recorded as the Sea of Illusion in the Ming Dynasty). All the students seldom travel to Wenzhengming School to learn calligraphy, and Zhengmingji allows them to do so. They are good at large and small seal characters, ancient clerical script, lines and regular script, and they can find their own way later. Good at writing orchids, Zheng Sixiao’s method. Since Zhao Mengfu, it has been rare to write orchids, which can be seen from public flaws. Very gratifying.
