  • Description:
This is a tea painting that Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty once hung in Qianchi Snow Tea House of Jingji Villa. Twenty one poems written by Qianlong while tasting tea in the tea house were mounted in the “Jade Pool” around the painting heart. Because Emperor Qianlong loved writing poems and painting, his poems and seals were almost left on the important calligraphy and painting works in the past dynasties. In addition to a poem written by Tang Yin (1470-1523) on the upper left of the tea tasting picture, there are seven poems written in the blank space, but he still hasn’t finished. With the help of the art of mounting, he can satisfy the emperor’s taste, which is also a rare example in the vertical loading pool.
