- Description:
The first three books were written in the 39th year of Wanli (1611), when Dong Qichang had just returned to Songjiang from Fujian for more than a year, and he was writing Wu Ju’s five character poem of burying cranes in Jiaoshan Temple. Dong’s comments on Wu Ju’s adherence to Mi Fu’s style, while Junqiao passed it. Dong Linben, on the other hand, is famous for his beautiful, vigorous and beautiful style. His pen is exquisite, his lines are round, his knot is long and straight, and his body is more clean. The last opening mentioned that “Li Beihai has studied calligraphy for 55 years”. If he had studied calligraphy since he was 17, he would have written in the sixth year of the apocalypse (1626). Looking at the last three openings and the first three openings, it is true that there are some differences in the use of pens and knot characters. The writing is more straightforward and less modified. Between the dots and paintings, the sharp strokes appear, and the knot body is also more lateral. It is really interesting for Li Yong (678-747) to write cursive script.
