Dong Qichang (1555-1636 AD) was born in Huating, Songjiang (now Songjiang, Shanghai). It was named Xuanzai, Sibai, Siweng, and Xiangguang Jushi, posthumously named Wenmin. In the 16th year of Wanli’s reign, the official went to the Ministry of Rites to minister. Good at calligraphy and painting. Calligraphy is a combination of the strengths of Jin, Tang, Song and Yuan dynasties. The magic of running regular script is unique.
