- Description:. The lower middle of the mouth edge is decorated with relief animal face, the left and right sides are Kui patterns composed of fine lines of cloud and thunder patterns, and the circle feet are the same decorative belts. Checkers can be seen on the outsole. The inscription on the bottom of the vessel has two lines and seven characters: “Be the father and respect Yi.” A homograph (M4:1) was unearthed in Chengcheng County, Shaanxi Province. The shape, ornamentation, size and even the style of the inscription are similar. It may have been the same group of artifacts, dating back to the early Western Zhou Dynasty
