- Description:
This white jade short sword handle of the Mongol Empire is carved with three narcissus flowers on the top, the flower core is dyed brown yellow, and the jade piece of the central flower core has been lost. It should have had a sharp metal blade and a gorgeous scabbard. However, the craftsmen in the Palace of Qing Dynasty were ordered to dismantle the original sword blade and make a new iron blade and wooden scabbard for it. The scabbard was covered with red silk and covered with a gold-plated hollow metal sheath. However, the iron blade and scabbard added by the Qing Palace are rigid narrow triangles, completely lacking the elegant radian of the Mengur scabbard. The iron blade is seriously rusted due to age.
