  • Dynasty: Ming dynasty
  • Category: Jades
  • Function: Container
  • Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
  • Description:
The body of the pot is not the same as the lid. The jade of the body is white, and the light embossed leaf pattern is Indian style, but the jade of the lid is green, and the leaf surface of the carved leaf pattern is concave, which is Türkiye style. It may be that the broken pieces were pieced together in the Huibu of Xinjiang or the Qing Palace. On the belly wall of the pot, a circle of acanthus leaves is carved, and the middle part is carved with flower patterns. The single handle is carved with a leaf pattern. The center of the flower is wrapped with gold wire and embedded with a ruby. The bottom is carved with flat flowers, but the outer circumference is cut off.
