The emerald is carved into a large plate in the shape of twenty lotus petals in full bloom. The center of the plate is carved into a flat flower with a flat bottom. The whole piece is thick and solid, which is a Mongolian empire jade work with thick texture and meticulous workmanship. The heart of the plate is a poem made by the emperor in the 34th year of Qianlong’s reign (1769): “The jade plate is full of feet in order to chant the scar capital.” It says, “The craftsman did not borrow the jade man to do the work, but drove thousands of miles from the wind tribute. The craftsman came to carve the Kama, and the golden god used to be the guarding pond. The melon petals were recovered outside the circle, and the feet were still full of fruit. No Baohua arrogantly offered good deeds, but Wang Sunyu expressed my gratitude.” And the “New First Month Imperial Title of Youchou” followed by two seals of “Qian” and “Long”. The poem was recorded on page 18, page 65, Volume II of Imperial Poems. The outer wall of the panel was composed by Liu Tongxun, Liu Lun, Yu Minzhong, Dong Bangda, Wang Jihua, Qian Weicheng, Cao Wenyuan, Peng Yuanrui, Shen Chu, Dong Gao, and others, showing the harmony of Emperor Qianlong
