- Image Number: K1C003821N000000000PAC
- Dynasty: Ming dynasty
- Category: Jades
- Function: Container
- Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
- Description:
It is made of blue white jade. Cover, neck, lower edge of abdominal wall, each embossed acanthus tuberosus leaves around. The ventral wall is embossed into a bunch of flower and leaf patterns. It is ingenious to use gold wire to wrap and inlay rubies to represent flowers. There are four rubies wrapped in gold wire on the cover. One of the inserts falls off, leaving only a small amount of gold flakes. It can be seen that there are four small pits on the oval recess, which should be chiseled for fixing the inserts.
