- Image Number: K1C003875N000000000PAB
- Dynasty: Ming dynasty
- Category: Jades
- Function: Container
- Material: Minerals/Jade Jewelry/Jade
- Description:
Bean green jade belt with dark gray and black stripes. Cut into oval box. The patterns of flowers and leaves carved around the cover and the box body are quite fine, and the arrangement is not consistent with the typical style of the mid-17th century. For example, there is a circle of acanthus tuberosus leaf pattern in the middle of the cover, and the leaf tips are split to the left and right, creating a sense of beauty. The flower and leaf patterns around the box are also non static. The flower stems are coiled along the S shape, presenting a graceful and dynamic feeling.
