The center and outer wall of the bowl are painted with lotus clusters in the river pond. There are dragons shuttling in the middle. The round eyes of the dragons are vertical, and the body is painted with flame patterns. There are blue and white “Ming Dynasty Hongzhi Year” two line six character regular script with double loops on the bottom. Hongzhi blue and white has not been handed down many times, but the standard is quite high. This piece is mainly made of equal green materials, and its characteristics are almost the same as Chenghua’s. Therefore, it is said that “there is no distinction between success and prosperity”. Hongzhi blue and white flowers are more delicate than Chenghua, with sparse composition and light painting.
