This volume includes ten works, including Su Shi, Mi Fu, Huang Tingjian, Zhao Mengfu and other styles, showing Zhu Yunming’s extensive knowledge of ancient calligraphers. Each piece of calligraphy presents a different look. Eight of them were written for Shen Yuwen (character discrimination), which lasted from 1506 to 1507. Shen Youwen, a native of Wuxian County, was an important book collector at that time. At the end of the volume, Zhu Ba pointed out that Shen Youwen was the collector of this volume, and he once took this as his postscript. Chen Chun believed that Zhu Yunming should not have written the last piece of calligraphy, but Wen Peng attributed the shortcomings of the last post to poor handwriting.
